A classic trip to the Sahara with a jeep tour

On all excursion routes (except for hotels on two-day excursions), it is not possible to exchange foreign currency for Tunisian dinars, and bank cards are not accepted for payment.
A child ticket is for children aged 2 to 11 (inclusive); an adult ticket is for ages 12 and older.

What to bring on the tour

Tour ticket (paid receipt)
Cash for souvenirs and personal expenses
Comfortable shoes are always appropriate for any trip
Swimsuit and towel (for tours involving sea outings)
Medical insurance policy
Appropriate clothing for visiting religious sites
Hat and sunscreen
Sweater or jumper (for trips planned in the evening)
Mobile phone for emergency contact
Camera
Bottle of water

USEFUL TIPS

During city tours or in crowded places, keep an eye on your personal belongings. Do not keep wallets and mobile phones in easily accessible places. Avoid using the services of individuals offering currency exchange on the street.

Never carry all your cash or your passport with you. We strongly recommend renting a safe in your room or at the hotel reception to store large sums of money and important documents.

Exchanging dollars or euros for Tunisian dinars is more convenient at the hotel. The exchange rate in Tunisia is approximately the same everywhere. When exchanging money, keep the receipt so that you can convert any remaining dinars back to dollars or euros at the airport before departure. Hotels do not offer reverse currency exchange.
