Nabeul & Wine tasting

Tour program

In Roman times, Nabeul was known as a center for producing one of the most famous sauces of the Roman Empire, garum. Within the Neapolis archaeological park are the garum production centers as well as the ruins of an ancient Roman villa. Additionally, Nabeul is recognized as the ceramics capital of Tunisia. Here live families whose history dates back to the Andalusian Moors, the very ones who brought ceramic-making techniques to Tunisia.

The tour concludes with a wine tasting at the renowned Bir Drassen winery. More than 10 varieties of white, rosé, and red wines provide a perfect ending to this engaging, informative, and dynamic excursion.
