Romanian presidential elections in Tunisia: Carthage Group guests arrived on time

Vacation abroad is not a reason to give up on expressing your civic stance. Over the past weekend, our guests from Romania had the opportunity to cast their votes for their country’s president at a special voting section opened in the Tunisian capital.

Election time is short, and debates surrounding the process often become quite intense, making it very disappointing not to be able to vote for your candidate. However, our Romanian guests vacationing in the African Mediterranean during these days of May didn’t have to worry about such developments.

The staff of the Romanian Embassy in Tunisia organized a special voting section for their fellow citizens in the Tunisian capital, located at 4, Rue Essaheb Ibn Abbad, Placette Reine Marie de Romania, Cite Jardins. The polling station No. 946 was open to those wishing to exercise their civic duty until the evening of Sunday, May 18. The ballot collection ended at 9:00 PM Romanian time and at 7:00 PM local time.

Carthage Group team did not stay on the sidelines of this important event. Tourists who arrived in Tunisia through our partners, Christian Tour and German Touristik tour operators, were provided with comfortable transportation to the voting location — a guided bus with accompaniment in Romanian.

We are very happy for our guests from Romania. Everyone who wanted to express their civic stance had the opportunity to do so in a timely manner and in the most convenient format, thanks to the efficient work of representatives from both their country’s Embassy and our International Group of Companies.
