A full-fledged start of the tourist season for Carthage Group’s guests from Bulgaria in Egypt. On March 28, we welcomed the first spring flight in Hurghada. On board of the plane arriving from Sofia were tourists traveling on the line of our long-time partners, the major Bulgarian tour operator Emerald Travel.
Carthage Group hosts guests from Bulgaria in the land of sphinxes and pyramids all year round. As we’ve mentioned before, the 2026 season for Bulgarian tourists actually began immediately after the New Year’s and Christmas arrivals, in January, with a flight to Sharm El Sheikh, among the passengers of which were both regular travelers and tourism industry professionals visiting Egypt as part of a FAM trip.
However, the true start of the current season can undoubtedly be marked by the arrival of the first spring flight with tourists in Hurghada on March 28. Shining smiles, delicious Eastern sweets. The welcome we had been waiting and preparing for with great pleasure took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
It’s also important to note that a specialist who speaks Bulgarian was present at the meeting – a fellow countrywoman of our guests, an employee of Old Egypt Travel, a company that is part of Carthage Group. The communication was as comfortable as possible for the travelers, as we always pay special attention to this aspect.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that among the passengers on the flight that landed in Hurghada were tourists who had booked stays at hotels in the young and very interesting Egyptian resort of Marsa Alam, about which we will definitely provide more details in future publications, both on our website and on Carthage Group’s social media pages.
