Novostar Hotels traditional events are regularly held in the hotel, they include pizza quests, cooking master classes, table games, various shows and sport competitions. There are also some additional family-oriented services (e.g. a self-service laundry).
One of the main advantages of the hotel is delicious and various meals from 06.00 till 00.00. In 2017, the hotel underwent major renovation, which was carried out everywhere, except for the rooms. It’s not a budget accommodation option in its category, but the hotel definitely keeps up quality standards and works off every dollar spent on it. Active animation won’t let you get bored, regular sport events and competitions will help you to keep fit. It’s really important because guests especially like varied daytime snacks: salads, pasta, pizza, French fries – everything is available by the pool, so it’s not necessary to change for lunch and go to the restaurant!
Rooms are located in buildings (the main one and an annex building). There are 4 bars, 3 restaurants, 5 swimming pools (an outdoor pool with a children’s area by the sea, an outdoor pool with a children’s area and a heated indoor pool on the territory of Novostar Dar Khayam 3*, an outdoor pool with water slides, an outdoor children’s pool with a water slide); a fitness room, a SPA center ($), a self-service laundry, a souvenir shop ($), a meeting room ($), a mini-club, a children’s playground. Wi-Fi is in the lobby and lobby bar.
The hotel is situated on the 1st coastline and has a private sandy gently sloping beach. Sun loungers, beach and pool umbrellas are provided free of charge, beach towels are available with a deposit.
Water slides for adults and children are located in the hotel, there’s a children’s pool with a water slide.

The SPA center Five Senses underwent major renovation in 2017, and was repaired in 2020. It’s a well-equipped cozy center with more than 10 treatment and massage cabins and hammam. Clients of the SPA center have a unique opportunity in Tunisia to have treatment with their children.

In Tunisian hotels the Open Space service (serving the clients outdoors) is usually provided from 01/06 till 30/09. The actual schedule correlates with weather conditions.
The mandatory air conditioning period in Tunisia lasts from 15/06 to 15/09.
The hotel reserves the right to change the list and terms of provided services before the start of the season, and even during the season, in accordance with current circumstances if these circumstances don’t affect the conditions of tourists’ stay significantly.
According to the law of the Tunisian Republic which came into force on December 8, 2017, tourists traveling to Tunisia must pay a hotel tax on arrival to the hotel.
The tax is 3 TND per person per night in four- and five-star hotels, 2 TND per person per night in three-star hotels, and 1 TND per person per night in two-star hotels.
The maximum number of nights the tax can be charged is seven, so customers staying longer than seven nights will only be charged for the first seven nights of their stay. If tourists stay in a hotel for less than a week, they pay only for the actual number of nights.
Children under 12 are exempt from paying the tax. If a child turns 12 in the first week of a hotel stay, from that moment the tax is charged for the number of nights remaining till the end of that week.
