The Hotel

The hotel will be a good choice for groups of adults and families with children, as well. Nightlife lovers will definitely like trendy discos and nightclubs right outside the hotel. If guests prefer healthy sleep to an active nightlife, do not worry: after the renovation of 2016, the rooms have good soundproofing.

The beach is magnificent since the hotel is located in one of the best coastline areas of Hammamet. The hotel also has green territory which is well thought-out, taking into account the interests of various kinds of tourists. One of the distinctive features of the hotel is its semi-indoor pool, heated in winter. The bar in the middle of another pool with a cascade of falling water is also worth mentioning.

Infrastructure

Sentido Phenicia Hotel 4* have 382 standard rooms.  There are 5 bars and 5 restaurants, 3 swimming pools (an outdoor pool, children’s pool and a semi-indoor pool), a fitness room, a SPA center ($), 10 tennis courts. There’s a stable in the hotel, horse riding and instructor services ($). There is also a conference hall for MICE travelers ($). Little travelers will like a mini club and children’s playground. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, including rooms.

Beach

The hotel is situated on the 1st coastline and has a private sandy gently sloping beach. Sun loungers, mattresses, beach and pool umbrellas are provided free of charge, beach towels are available with a deposit.

Bars & Restaurants

There are 3 restaurants and 5 bars. All Inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style in the main restaurant. Snack bar by the pool and a barbecue beach restaurant are also available.

There is also an a la carte restaurant Le Panache, guests can visit it once for free during their stay upon an advance reservation, and a chargeable Asian restaurant Dragon.

There are All Inclusive bars in the lobby, by the animation stage and on the beach. Traditional Tunisian mint tea, Turkish coffee and hookah are served in the Moorish café for extra payment. The Carillion piano bar is chargeable.

The rooms are located in the main 4-floor building equipped with an elevator, and two 2-floor annex buildings. There are 2 Room Types: Standard Room, Sea View Room. Maximum occupancy is 3 people.

Additional Information

Changes of the List and Terms of Provided Services

In Tunisian hotels the Open Space service (serving the clients outdoors) is usually provided from 01/06 till 30/09. The actual schedule correlates with weather conditions.

The mandatory air conditioning period in Tunisia lasts from 15/06 to 15/09.

The hotel reserves the right to change the list and terms of provided services before the start of the season, and even during the season, in accordance with current circumstances if these circumstances don’t affect the conditions of tourists’ stay significantly.

Tourist Tax

According to the law of the Tunisian Republic which came into force on December 8, 2017, tourists traveling to Tunisia must pay a hotel tax on arrival to the hotel.

The tax is 3 TND per person per night in four- and five-star hotels, 2 TND per person per night in three-star hotels, and 1 TND per person per night in two-star hotels.

The maximum number of nights the tax can be charged is seven, so customers staying longer than seven nights will only be charged for the first seven nights of their stay. If tourists stay in a hotel for less than a week, they pay only for the actual number of nights.

Children under 12 are exempt from paying the tax. If a child turns 12 in the first week of a hotel stay, from that moment the tax is charged for the number of nights remaining till the end of that week.
